About North Cove Design

North Cove Design, founded in 1986, is located in rural Cumberland, Maine – not far
from Portland.

Our catalog shows our standard-size products, all of which can be customized to fit your particular needs. We can also design and build specific to your ideas and help you to achieve the vision you have for your space.

Our stock furniture design is contemporary Shaker and is available as pedestal, sofa, and hall tables. We also offer a changing selection of limited edition art furniture.

Owner/Designer and furniture maker Ted Ney lives nearby with his wife Susan Pine, an etched metal designer. You can see her wonderful work at www.goosepond.com.

Although most of his work is contemporary in nature, Ted's designs are influenced by his northern New England surroundings and the historical furniture of the area.
